News & Updates
Well as most probably realised, we transferred most of our communication over to our Facebook page since the last update. As most of you will also know, we decided to make our appearance at HRH ProgV our last gig. It's time to move on and do new things. We wouldn't rule out the odd one off appearance at some point in the future but there are no plans for Dream Circuit to continue as a going concern.
Thanks to everybody that supported us along the way, in however small a way. It's been a blast and we've made some great friends. We will all carry on making music in other projects and we'll keep you updated either here or through our FB page. This site will stay up for the next couple of years at least (because we already paid for it!) and we'll also use it as an archive for any new footage or reviews that we find etc.
Thanks again and we hope to see you out and about in whatever new bands we end up in!
We are delighted to announce that we will be playing HRH Prog3 next March. We can safely say that this is going to be an epic weekend. We are on the main stage on Thursday night so don't leave it until the Friday! For those that saw us at the inaugural HRH Prog rest assured we are not playing in an ice cube this time. Check out full details at the link below:
There are a couple of new gig dates for your diary on the 'Live' page. Plenty of notice so no excuses! Whilst I'm here a huge thanks to all that came down for Dave's birthday gig at The Rigger. It was great to see so many there (although I wish you'd all stand nearer the front as the pics make it look empty!) and I hope you enjoyed the special surprise guest on 'Remote Control'.
If you're wondering why we've been a little quiet this year it's mainly because Jay and Simon have been off having babies and we are delighted to welcome Lucy and Elodie to the ever growing DC family.
And finally... we're on the hunt for gigs for next year so anybody organising any festivals, gatherings or front room happenings that you think would benefit from a little DC love, get in touch!
Gig alert! For those suffering from DC withdrawals may I cordially invite you to join us at The Rigger in Newcastle Under Lyme on Friday 19th September for a headline show from us, followed by a few beers in honour of Dave's significant birthday. See you down there!
Well it's been a while my friends! Fear not, we have not been idle, we have been writing and recording new material throughout the winter. What we have in the can so far is sounding really good and we can't wait to unleash it on you but we know that we want it to be as good as it can be, which means taking our time (something we are good at!). It will be so worth it though.
In other news check out the LIve Dates page as we have a few gigs coming up including the return of the magnificent Haberdashers Progadelic Summer Festival in Shropshire. Last years event was really very cool and it would be great to see more people turn out this year, easpecially as we're looking at doing it over 3 days!
We're heading off to Kozfest this week for what has turned into one of the best little festivals going! Great bands, great people and a totally chilled vibe all round. We're first on the main stage on Friday (12:10pm) so hope to see some friendly faces down there.
The last few gigs have been great, especially the Haberdashers Progadelic Summer Festival - what a cool venue that was! Definitely going to try and repeat it next year so big thanks to all the bands and punters that made it a top day out.
After KozFest the gig diary is fairly clear but this is primarily so we can devote time to getting some new recordings out. Recording has started but it's a lengthy progress when we are involved! Sounding great so far however so keep checking back here for updates. Meanwhile the old compilation CD is still available and we have just had a new pressing done with greatly improved artwork and sleeve notes.
